Fishermen from the Murmansk region died in the Barents Sea

In the water area of the Barents Sea, a boat with fishermen from the Murmansk region rolled over. Two people died. This was reported by TASS with reference to a source in emergency services.

Rescuers received a message that the boat was in distress in the Bay of Motovsky, two private small vessels and one vessel of the auxiliary fleet of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Federation were sent to assistance. Later, an inverted boat was found 20 kilometers from the coastline, next to which the body of one of the dead fishermen floated. The second deceased was found after a few hours of searches.

Since May 18, in the Kola district of the Murmansk region, there has been a restriction on the exit of small vessels at sea due to adverse weather conditions.
