
The police of Abakan detained a local resident who is suspected of spoiling banners of supporting the so-called "special military operation" in Ukraine, the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports .
According to the police, a man born in 1964 painted a banner with paint in support of the Russian army participating in a special operation at the intersection of Katanova and Pushkin streets. In addition, he made an anti -war inscription on the facade of the building of the Khakass National Museum of Local Lore, where the light screen with the letter Z, symbolizing the Russian invasion of Ukraine, previously appeared.
The court appointed the suspect a non -departure on the right to leave. He faces a fine of up to 40 thousand rubles, or correctional labor for up to a year, as well as an arrest of up to three months.
