RKN reported on the removal of 38 thousand calls for protests against war

The head of Roskomnadzor Andrei Lipov reported on the removal of 38 thousand messages with calls for protests against the war in Ukraine since the end of February. This is stated by the regulator website.

Lipov also stated that the RKN blocked more than 117 thousand “fakes about the essence of the conflict, actions and losses of the Armed Forces” and 1.2 thousand resources with Ukrainian nationalist propaganda with a total audience over 202 million users. ”

The head of the department also told members of the Public Council under Roskomnadzor that at the beginning of the war the volumes of shows of "Ukrainian nationalist propaganda" were prohibitive. Lipov believes that the materials were "paid for the West for billions of rubles" and created in advance.

• From the beginning of the war, anti -war pickets and rallies have been held in Russia, more than 16 thousand people have already been detained on them. In early March, the authorities adopted new laws introducing criminal and administrative responsibility for the "discredit" of the Russian army and "fakes" about the war.
