A Novosibirsk activist said that they came to him with a search in the case of “false mining” of schools and the court

An 18-year-old activist from Novosibirsk, Pavel Lukin, was searched in connection with a case of knowingly making a false report about an act of terrorism that resulted in major damage (Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code). The young man told OVD-Info about this.

According to Lukin, the security forces first took him from the house for questioning, and after the conversation they returned to the apartment and conducted a search, during which they confiscated the system unit from the computer.

In addition, the activist told the human rights project that, according to the security forces, he wrote letters to the Ministry of Emergency Situations about mining 20 schools and a court, and also demanded 150 thousand rubles to remove explosive devices. As OVD-Info notes, despite this, Lukin is in the status of a witness in the case.

The young man added that the security forces asked him not to write about politics and to be “politically active.” Lukin works in the unregistered All-Russian Social Unity party.

Before May 9, security forces carried out mass searches and arrests in St. Petersburg,Moscow , Veliky Novgorod and Voronezh . Some of them are related to the case against the youth movement “Viasna” for the creation of an NGO that encroaches on the rights and personality of citizens (Article 239 of the Criminal Code), others - in the case of “false mining”.
