Poroshenko was allowed to leave Ukraine from the third time

Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who is under investigation on charges of Gosizmen, was allowed to leave Ukraine through a border crossing with Poland to participate in the Summit of the European People's Party in Rotterdam. There he intends to seek the status of an EU candidate in June.

Earlier, ex -president was twice forbidden to leave the country - May 27 and 28. Ukrainian border guards claimed that Porshenko had problems with documents.

Poroshenko managed to leave Ukraine after contacting President Vladimir Zelensky.

In the homeland, Poroshenko is suspected of Stateizing and financing terrorism in the supply of coal in 2014-2015 from the regions of Donbass not controlled by Kyiv. In January, the court released a policy for personal obligations and ordered to submit a passport.

Ukraine accuses another politician of Gosizmen - Viktor Medvedchuk. It is considered pro -Russian. The Security Service of Ukraine previously distributed a video of interrogation, during which the opposition politician said that he participated in the scheme for the withdrawal of part of the oil pipeline from the state property at the direction of Poroshenko.
