The Minister of Education of the Sverdlovsk Region, Yuri Biktuganov, demanded the dismissal of the director of the Yekaterinburg Lyceum No. 12, Lyubov Kuleva, after graduates danced a dance in harnesses on May 12. This was reported by 1E.ru with reference to an official.
The lyceum students’ dance drew attention to the telegram channel “URALLIVE”, which is hosted by members of the team of TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov. “In Yekaterinburg, the school year was closed with a depraved LGBT dance,” and after that “the dancers were awarded for their courage,” the channel wrote.
“The air of freedom in the Yeltsin-center way, but certainly not in the Ural way. I'm waiting, I'm wondering, will the governor also give them a bonus? What about the Yekaterinburg City Duma? No? Won’t he write it out?” — Soloviev himself said about the schoolchildren’s performance.
After statements by the Minister of Education Biktuganov and TV presenter Solovyov, parents, employees and graduates of the lyceum came to support the director and collected several hundred signatures in her defense, writes . Vecherniye Vedomosti
One of the parents said that Soloviev “sees only dirt everywhere and sees gays everywhere.” Those gathered in the lyceum courtyard felt that the TV presenter should apologize to the students and Kuleva, and the regional governor should “take their side.”
Kuleva herself explained that the dance was a “parody” and part of the annual “Dance Galaxy” competition, so there was no LGBT propaganda in it.
The Department of Education of Yekaterinburg 66.RU told that “the children chose the wrong content when watching popular youth videos, which led to unsuccessful performance,” and they had already held a preventive conversation with the school administration.
