A court in Pechora fined an employee of the Yolochka kindergarten for talking about the war during working hours.

The Pechora City Court in the Komi Republic fined kindergarten employee Lyudmila Zaichenko 30 thousand rubles for “discrediting” the army. This is stated on the court's website.

Zaichenko was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code. According to the case file, from March to April, Zaichenko “repeatedly publicly expressed her dissatisfaction and negative attitude” towards the conduct of a “special military operation” in Ukraine during working hours.

The website of kindergarten No. 17 “Yolochka” in Pechora states that a 42-year-old employee named Lyudmila Zaichenko works as a nurse.

According to the press service, Zaichenko claimed that the Russian army was participating in a “war” and not in a “special operation”, and also supported “the policies of the President of Ukraine” and “spoke negatively towards the President of Russia”, which, according to the court, “ discredited" the military personnel and "undermined trust" in the federal authorities "involved in the implementation of the special military operation."

At the court hearing on May 27, Zaichenko confirmed that she spoke out at work about the war in Ukraine because her relatives live there, and she herself is a native of this country. Zaichenko denied the facts of statements addressed to Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, the court concluded.
