The leading design engineer of the Ukrainian aircraft concern Antonov was suspected of justifying Russian aggression

The prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region charged the leading design engineer of the Antonov aircraft concern with justifying Russia's aggression - article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, in March-April 2022, an Antonov employee distributed publications on social networks aimed at supporting the actions of the Russian Federation and justifying its armed aggression against Ukraine.

In particular, according to the report of the regional prosecutor's office, he published a map of Ukraine, on which part of the territories was marked as belonging to other countries, and also promoted and supported such slogans as “There is no such country as Ukraine. There is the outskirts of Russia”, “For ours”, “Power V to the truth”.

The name of the suspect was not disclosed, it is only reported that he lives in the city of Irpin. A measure of restraint for the leading design engineer of the Antonov aircraft concern has not yet been chosen.
