Human rights activist and ex-coordinator of Gulagu.net Boris Ushakov was detained in Moscow

Boris Ushakov, a human rights activist and former coordinator of the Gulagu.net project, was detained in Moscow. This was reported to OVD-Info by human rights activist Irina Yatsenko.

According to information from Ushakov's acquaintances, he was detained in the city center when he was about to go on a picket. At about 11 am he was taken to the police station in the Tverskoy district.

After that, in the afternoon, Ushakov's lawyer received a message from an unknown number that the police had brought a man with a similar name to the 1st city hospital. What condition he is in is unknown. He has a disability.

23:20 It became known that Boris Ushakov was again taken to the police department in the Tverskoy district. A lawyer from OVD-Info, Alan Kachmazov, is coming to see him.
