Boris Ushakov, a human rights activist and former coordinator of the Gulagu.net project, went on a dry hunger strike in special detention center No. 2 in Mnevniki on June 1 in Moscow. This was reported to OVD-Info by human rights activist Irina Yatsenko.
Ushakov went on a dry hunger strike - "due to illegal actions by the staff of the special detention center and before the arrival of a lawyer and a prosecutor."
The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow arrested Ushakov for 13 days under the article on disobedience to the demands of the police (part 1 of article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
On May 31, the human rights activist was detained in the city center when he was about to go on a solo picket.
