Chita: a soldier deceived money from a subordinate

In Chita, the court found the sergeant of the local military unit guilty of embezzlement of money from the subordinate and sentenced him to a fine. This was reported by the Chita.ru publication with reference to the military investigative department of the Russian Federation for the Chita garrison.

According to the investigation, Sergeant Dmitry Sologub in July 2021, acting as an abnormal assistant commander, convinced the soldier that he could transfer her to another part to a higher position for money. She believed and gave the sergeant 150 thousand rubles. Sologub spent the money received on personal needs.

The Chita garrison military court sentenced the soldier to a fine of 300 thousand rubles. Also, he is forbidden for two years to occupy a position in the civil service.
