The Presnensky District Court of Moscow sent Dmitry Ivanov, the author of the telegram channel “Protest MGU”, to a pre-trial detention center for two months on charges of “fakes” about the Russian army. This was reported by a lawyer from OVD-Info, who is defending the activist.

The basis for the criminal prosecution were publications in the telegram channel “Protest MGU” about the attack of the Russian Armed Forces on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, about the losses of Russian aviation on the territory of Ukraine, about the attacks of the Russian Armed Forces on the city of Ukraine and the murder of civilians there, about the fact that the Russian army is leading a war, not a special operation, and about the war crimes of the Russian army in Bucha and Irpen.
