The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the morning briefing on June 4 stated that in the Odessa region, air defense systems shot down a military transport aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "delivering weapons and ammunition." Also in the report of the Ministry of Defense it is said that in the Odessa region in the Dachnoye region "as a result of a missile attack, the deployment point of foreign mercenaries was destroyed."

In turn, the speaker of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Sergei Bratchuk , said that a Russian cruise missile hit an agricultural enterprise in the region, two people were injured.

The Ukrainian side did not comment on the statement about the downed military transport aircraft.
