In Moscow, on Red Square, Yevgeny Filistovich was detained, standing in a single picket with a poster against Putin. This was reported to OVD-Info by the detainee himself.

Filistovich was taken to the Kitai-Gorod police department. A protocol was drawn up against him under the article on repeated violation of the rules for participation in the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and is left until the court. The man is scheduled to be brought to court on Monday. In the department, he was assisted by a lawyer from OVD-Info Alan Kibizov.

The location of the picket has been corrected in the news: earlier it was erroneously reported that Filistovich went out with a poster to Manezhnaya Square.

Participants of actions on various topics are regularly detained on Red Square: eco-activists , picketers with posters about Putin , against repression and torture , in support of political prisoners ; they also detain actionists who held performances, and the most ordinary citizens who stood with posters with a smiley face , a blank sheet of paper or a declaration of love .
