The Ministry of Defense included sailors from "Moscow" in the list of participants in "special operation"
Cruiser "Moscow"
Sailors from the military unit 84201, who died on the sunken cruiser "Moscow", were included in the list of participants in the "special military operation". This was reported by "Mediazona" with reference to the response of the prosecutor's office of the Black Sea Fleet to the request of the mother of the wounded sailor Gulnaz Urazaeva.
The document says that the military unit was added to the list so that the crew of the ship and members of their families could receive payments. The response of the prosecutor’s office does not specify when exactly the part was included in the list.
Despite the listing, neither the prosecutor’s office nor the Ministry of Defense admitted that the Moscow cruiser participated in the war in Ukraine.
Gulnaz Urazaeva is the mother of the wounded on the cruiser "Moscow" of the sailor-carrier from Naberezhnye Chelny Bulat Shakirzyanov. He is under treatment at the St. Petersburg Academy of St. Petersburg and, according to his mother, underwent three operations.
The cruiser sank on April 13th. The head of the Odessa Military Administration, Maxim Marchenko, said that the Ukrainian military fell into the vessel with anti -ship missiles "Neptune", which caused a strong fire on board.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the fire without specifying its reasons, and also stated that as a result of a fire on the ship, the ammunition detonated. The fire of the Ukrainian troops in the department was not recognized. On the evening of April 14, the department announced that the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia sank during the towing in the port "under storm excitement". One soldier was officially deceased.
On May 6, the military prosecutor's office said that the cruiser did not participate in the so -called special operation. Officially, the Ministry of Defense reported on one deceased and 27 missing. The mothers of two conscripts from the sunken cruiser "Moscow" were asked to sign documents on the recognition of their children to the dead "as a result of the disaster."
The cruiser "Moscow" was the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. On its armament stood 16 anti-ship missiles with a radius of action of at least 700 kilometers and long-range Air Defense Carriage complexes of the S-300 Fort. This is the same ship that participated in the attack on the island of Zmein in the Odessa region. It was on the proposal of “Moscow” to surrender to the “Russian military ship” the phrase “Russian warship, go *****!”, Which became one of the symbols of the war.
