Mortality rates in Russia have reached a level below the pandemic period. This was stated by the head of the Russian Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko at a reception at the Russian Academy of Sciences.
"Today we have returned to the indicators, even improved the indicators of the pre-pandemic period. Over the last week, we have noted that in terms of mortality indicators, despite the fact that the number of patients still remains quite large, it has returned (to a level) below the pre-pandemic period," RIA Novosti quotes the minister as saying.
Murashko did not provide any specific figures when speaking about mortality.
