How is the first day of PMEF

On Wednesday, June 15, the International Economic Forum started in St. Petersburg - it will last three days, until June 18. The event was traditionally organized at the Expoforum exhibition center.

The participants of the first day of the forum (it is also called zero, since the main business program starts later), in particular, Russian entrepreneurs, officials from unrecognized LPR and the DPR, as well as representatives of Afghanistan controlled by the Taliban (the movement is recognized as terrorist and prohibited in the Russian Federation). Several opposition at once joked that such a composition is "everything you need to know about this forum."

Participation in the event of a representative of the forbidden Taliban especially surprised users. “Is it true for the Economic Forum? But not a military man? " - specify in social networks. Someone comes up with jokes.

The Russian BBC Service also noted the difference in PMEF-2022 and forums of past years. It is assumed that after 14 months the artist will build a shopping and entertainment center in the region. Investments in the project, according to the authorities, will amount to 1.7 billion rubles.

“Now is the time to invest not in clothes, not in diamonds, not in expensive cars, but in projects for people,” Kirkorov said .

The organizers report that there will be about 500 speakers from different countries on the PMEF, including from Italy, France and Canada. However, as “paper” previously found out , some of them have been working in Russia for many years and are closely connected with it.

Judging by the program, mainly on the forum they plan to talk about cooperation with Asia, Africa and Latin America. And Egypt is the country's country.

The Egyptian stand on the PMEF is an Egypt -luminous inscription and two walls with hieroglyphs.

The slogans in the support of Donbass were placed on their stands onf and Rosmolodezh. There you can also sacrifice money to residents of the republics unrecognized in the West and buy a measure with the symbols of the LPR and the DPR.

The journalist-investigator Andrei Zakharov surprises why the Ministry of Defense did not place his own stand on the PMEF, where it would be possible to sign a short-term contract and go to fight in Ukraine.

The governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, has not yet appeared on the PMEF, but together with the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin in honor of the start of the forum shot from the guns of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
