The person involved in the “palace case”, Moscow State University student Said-Mukhamad Dzhumaev, was transferred to correctional colony No. 3 in the Tambov region. This was reported by the Arresters 212 telegram channel.
At the end of April, the man was already transferred to a colony - then he ended up in IK-2 in the Vladimir region. The reason for the transfer is unknown. In May, Dzhumaev was placed in a punishment cell due to minor violations.
In August 2021, Dzhumaev was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony in the case of a fight with riot police at a rally on January 23, 2021 in support of Alexei Navalny. He was charged with an article on the use of violence against government officials (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code).
The investigation alleged that during a rally in support of Navalny, a student punched and kicked an equipped riot policeman on Pushkin Square. Dzhumaev admitted his guilt, the case was considered in a special manner. Nevertheless, the young man was given the maximum sentence that can be received under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code.
On February 21, 2022, Dzhumaev’s sentence was confirmed . After this, the man was transferred to a pre-trial detention center in Bashkortostan.
