"Important stories" identified the Pskov paratroopers who were in Bucha

The publication "Important Stories" established the individuals of the eight of the Pskov paratroopers who were in Buch during the occupation of the city by Russian troops. Journalists studied data from a mobile phone belonging to the surviving resident of Buchi - 43 -year -old builder Ivan Skibe. The military called their loved ones.

On March 4, the Russian military broke the door to the house where nine men were hiding, there was a skiba among them. They shared everyone, examined tattoos. Then the phones were selected from men. Later, the detainees led to a four -story office building, where the Russians arranged their headquarters. The military tortured some men, after which they shot seven people. Ivan Skiba, he said, fell next to one of the dead and pretended to be dead.

When the Russian military left, Ivan escaped from the scene of the shooting, hiding in a private house. After some time, he went to the house, where his wife and children hid in the basement. Together with his family, he was evacuated first to Kyiv, then to Lviv, and then left for Poland.

“Important stories” found eight military from Pskov, who most likely used the stolen phone for calls home. Journalists call their names: Alexey Vishnevsky, Maxim Grushevsky, Radiy Zaburin, Mikhail Guryanov, Daniil Konovalov, Alexander Popov, Dmitry Antonnikov, Ilya Saburov. At least three of them - Konovalov, Popov and Antonnikov - have already died.

The publication emphasized that they did not know what kind of role the Pskov paratroopers found during the occupation of Buchi played. Ivan Skiba, to whom we showed photos of the soldiers, finds it difficult to say who exactly took the phone from him and tortured: the military were in balaclavas. Nevertheless, the facts discovered is another evidence that military personnel from the Pskov military unit 32 515 and 74,268 may be involved in war crimes in Buch.

Earlier, “important stories” established the identity of the Russian military from the article by The New York Times on the mass execution of the inhabitants of Buchi. Presumably, this can be a native of Magadan Genghis Atantaev, who lived in Pskov.

Reuters reporters spent three weeks in the Ukrainian Buches for three weeks, interviewed 90 local residents and established the individuals and places of the service of some Russian soldiers who were in the city during the occupation and murders of civilians. The publication claims that the 76th Parachute-Passionate Division from Pskov, a division of the Rosguard Vityaz, and three divisions from Chechnya acted in Buch.

• During the battles in Buch and the city’s occupation lasted about a month of Russian occupation, several hundred civilians were killed. Some of them were probably killed during shelling, others were allegedly killed by the Russian military purposefully. The Ukrainian authorities and the International Criminal Court are investigating the events in Bucha for the possible commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
