Telegram presented a paid subscription for 449 rubles per month

Telegram messenger released an update and presented a paid subscription. All changes were reported on the company's blog.

Telegram Premium will cost 449 rubles per month for Russian users. The new functions of paid subscription will include:

• Downloading to files up to 4 GB each;

• download media at maximum speed without restrictions;

• the ability to subscribe to a thousand channels;

• connection to four accounts;

• Adding up to 200 chats to each of 20 folders;

• use of 400 GIF-animations and 10 selected stickers;

• the expanded section "About yourself" and more signs in the signatures to the photo/video;

• decoding voice messages;

• Lack of advertising, etc.

Also, for all users, several new free functions will appear.

“You are waiting for applications for joining public groups, an animized screen of uploading files from third -party applications, more informative descriptions of bots and much more,” the developers shared.

Earlier, the founder of Telegram Pavel Durov promised that people without paid subscription will still be able to use some of its advantages.

According to his idea, despite successful experiments with advertising in the channels, Telegram should “be financed primarily by users, not advertisers”.
