The FSB in the Vladimir region reported on the detention of a local resident who was planning to carry out a terrorist attack at a protest rally. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the department.

The FSB claims that the resident himself made bombs and firearms for this, TASS writes . According to the department, he wanted to use them “against government officials” against the backdrop of “personal hatred of the public administration system,” and he was going to do this at an “unauthorized anti-government rally.” What kind of event we are talking about is not specified.

A case was opened against the man for preparing to commit a terrorist attack (Part 1 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code) and he was taken into custody. The press service added that he confessed.
