Pskov deputies wrote a complaint to the prosecutor's office against the head of the Novorzhevsky district from the Yabloko party, Sofya Pugacheva, who forbade children from hanging the letters Z and V on the building of the House of Culture. This was reported by the publication 7x7.

At a session on June 20, all 15 deputies of the Novorzhevsky district voted to contact the department “after a heated discussion of the issue” in order to give a “legal assessment” of Pugacheva’s actions.

One of the deputies, Nikolai Sokolov, called her action “a shot in the back of Russian servicemen.” He noted that he had repeatedly raised the issue of Pugacheva’s “strange behavior.” The head of the municipality herself was not present at the discussion.

The prosecutor's office told the 7x7 correspondent that they had not yet received a letter from the deputies, but they were “expecting it.”

“When, on the eve of Russia Day, during a lesson at the regional library, children were asked to decorate the windows of the local House of Culture, they enthusiastically took up the task. We cut out hearts, flowers, doves, and decided to draw the main letters of time - Latin V and Z ,” said the Pskov Russia TV channel.

On June 19, summer camp students pasted letters on the windows of the House of Culture, but they were removed on the same day by order of Pugacheva.

“There are generally requirements for the provision of municipal property area. It must be provided equally for all political parties, for all public opinions. That is, if, for example, only symbols are applied, it is necessary to provide the same opportunity to place, for example, a different point of view on municipal property. We cannot afford this, our municipal property will simply be demolished,” explained the head of the district.
