In 2017, he was arrested in absentia in Russia in the Right Sector case. According to investigators , a pensioner born in 1940 joined the Right Sector, supporting “radical views, as well as the ideas of fascism and nationalism.” The department published a photograph of Stotsky with the organization’s flag.
