Transbaikalia: the river washed away two bridges to the village of Ust-Karsk

In the Sretensky district of the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Kara River spread two bridges that spilled because of the rains. The village of Ust-Karsk was cut off from all roads, the editorial office of Siberia. Reali residents said.

The information was confirmed by the head of the district, Alexei Zakurdaev.

“There are also two sections of the regional road road. And before Ust -Karsk, one bridge took the water, the second broke out. There are no other alternative entrances to the village, so I recommend that the settlement administration announce the emergency mode,” the district head said.

According to him, the auction for the restoration of the first bridge will allocate 6 million rubles from the district road fund, but when it will be completed is unknown. In addition, officials announced that there is no funds in the district budget to restore the second bridge.

"I will contact the Ministry of Construction with a request to allocate funding," Zakurdaev said.

Residents of Ust -Kursk said that they managed to make grocery reserves (but not longer than a week), but there is absolutely no medicine in the village - the only pharmacy was closed here the day before.

The Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Osipov said that due to the rise in the water, the “tense situation has developed” in the Balesky, Sretensky, Mogochinsky and Olovyanninsky districts of the region.

In addition to Ust-Karsk, the entrances to the villages of Grobovo, Zhuravlevo, Aliya, Turg, the village of Zolotorechensk were injured. “There are a supply of water and food in all these settlements. There are alternative travel paths. And, most importantly, there is no threat of flooding of residential buildings,” Osipov emphasized.

Due to the threat of a new rise in water in the Mogochinsky district, Ksenyevka, Mogoch, Ruga, Jelonde may be flooded, the head of the region said.

In the Trans -Baikal Territory, residents of remote villages regularly remain without a message with district centers or neighboring villages.
