The Meshchansky Court of Moscow arrested Stanislav Frolov, head of the Another Brass Band, for seven days, who was detained during a street performance. about this with reference to Frolov himself and Oleg Mokryakov, coordinator of the community of street musicians. writes Mediazona
They also told the publication that during the arrest, the police broke Frolov's hand. At the same time, the court found the musician guilty under the article on disobedience to the security forces (part 1 of article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
On June 23, Frolov's orchestra played as part of the state cultural project "Street Artist" on Kuznetsky Most. Mokryakov told Mediazone that repair work was taking place nearby, so the musicians decided to move 20 meters away from the agreed performance venue.
After that, the police immediately arrived and announced that they were “detaining the entire orchestra and confiscating the instruments under the article on trade of the Administrative Code of Moscow 11.13.” Frolov objected to the security forces, and subsequently they grabbed him, threw him to the ground, handcuffed him and dragged him into a police car, the publication draws attention.
The moment of the musician's arrest was published on the SharksLive YouTube channel. Together with Frolov, the tuba player was taken to the police - a musical instrument was confiscated from him and soon released.
"Mediazona" notes that an employee of the Meshchansky district administration pointed out Frolov to the police - allegedly he "plays musical instruments in an undesignated place and takes payment for performances."
Frolov indicated in a conversation with the publication that his hand was broken during the arrest, when “they carried it with a swallow.” Because of this, the man was taken to traumatology by ambulance - the diagnosis referred to by Mediazona indicated a fracture of the distal metaepiphysis of the left radius (questionable), as well as bruises and abrasions, hyperemia of the neck and lower back, upper limbs, wrist joints.
Frolov was put in plaster, after which he was taken back to the police department in the Meshchansky district - there the musician spent the night, waiting for the trial.
On July 1 , Oleg Mokryakov told OVD-Info that the Moscow City Court had considered the complaint against the arrest of Stanislav Frolov and upheld the decision of the first instance. The meeting took place on June 28.
