The court in Nalchik handed down the first verdict under a criminal article about discrediting the Russian army

He said that the security forces have a recording from a camera that recorded Zhambekov’s daughter getting out of his car and tearing off a sticker from another car.

An employee of Center “E” made an appointment for the man on the same day. When he arrived, the security officer showed him his ID and showed him a video of the “crime.” Then the men went to the police department in Zhambekov’s car. There, at least 16 police officers and employees of Center “E” were present during the conversation with him.

“Just so you understand, because of you, the entire department of the Center for Emergency Prevention, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee were raised... Everyone was called out of the house and told to work,” the security forces explained to the detainee.

When asked about the status of the case, Zhambekov was answered: “No [status] yet, we’re just communicating.”

Zhambekov was asked why he was against the war and why he didn’t like the letters Z. The detainee responded emotionally to these questions, reports “Full PC 2.0”. This became the reason for drawing up a protocol under the administrative article on disobedience to police officers (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). According to OVD-Info, this is the first verdict under the criminal article on discrediting the Russian armed forces (Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code), which was introduced into the code in early March. Currently, criminal cases have been opened against six people in five regions.
