The historian Tatyana Tairov-Yakovlev was fired from St. Petersburg State University. This was announced by REGNUM by political analyst Peter Phratov.

“The position of Tairova-Yakovleva after the start of a special military operation, her interview was caused by a sharply negative reaction in the company and a lot of letters to the St. Petersburg Builder, as well as to law enforcement agencies, which led to its dismissal,” he said. A protocol was drawn up on Tairov-Yakovlev, and the university stopped labor relations with her.

At the same time, Rotonda noticed that on February 28, Tairov-Yakovlev was awarded the leadership of St. Petersburg State University with a diploma “For fundamental achievements in science” for work on the history of central European and Ukraine.
