Gladkov: in Belgorod, four people died due to the debris of a downed Ukrainian missile

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov , said that in Belgorod last night four people died due to the debris of a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile shot down by air defense systems.

He added that among the dead were three Ukrainian citizens and one Russian. Earlier, RIA Novosti published a story from a Belgorod resident who claimed that the explosion killed a family evacuating from Kharkov.

Earlier, Gladkov spoke of three deaths after a “series of loud sounds.” Several dozen houses were destroyed.

The press service of the Investigative Committee claims that three people were killed, two were missing, and four more people were injured. There are children among the missing and injured. “39 private and 11 apartment buildings were damaged, and 1 household was completely destroyed,” the department noted.

In addition, the Investigative Committee opened a case under articles of murder (paragraphs “a”, “e” and “g” of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code) and attempted murder (Part 3 of Article 30; paragraphs “a”, “e” and “ g" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code).
