Pskov region allocated 100 million rubles for a patriotic camp
The Russian government allocated 100 million rubles to create a historical and patriotic camp in the Pskov region, the regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov said .
The camp will be built in the Holy Assumption Pskov-Pechora Monastery in the city of Pechora. The branch of the youth camp will be created in Samolv.
There will be ten shifts in the youth-patriotic camp, at least 1 thousand people out of 70 subjects of Russia should take part in the work of the camp, the document said by Mikhail Vedernikov. The camp participants should visit Samolva with excursions at least 10 times.
In 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin came to Samolva at the opening of the Alexander Nevsky memorial with a squad on the shores of Lake Peipsi. There he was offered to create a patriotic camp. Putin supported the idea.
