The city defender Alexander Kononov was detained in St. Petersburg. About this writes "OVD-info" with reference to his familiar.
Kononov was taken to the police department No. 2. The exact reasons for the detention are unknown.
“Kononov was detained for a survey based on the materials of some kind of audit. The duty officer says that he is engaged in the“ E ”center. They promise to interview and release after 3 hours. We are waiting for a lawyer,” wrote the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Boris Vishnevsky, who came to the police department.
Later Kononov was released from the police.
Earlier, the St. Petersburg court fined Alexander Kononov for 40 thousand rubles in the administrative case of the "discredit" of the army.
The protocol on it was drawn up after the police discovered a post on the city defender in an anonymous telegram channel, in which the anonyms accused him of “anti-Russian activity” and attached screenshots of publications-supposedly from the city defender's page on VKontakte. Kononov claimed that he did not write such posts. He did not admit guilt.
The court of first instance abolished the consideration of the case and sent it back to the police, since violations were committed in the protocol. But later, the court nevertheless fined Kononov.
Kononov was one of the participants in the conflict of the leadership of the St. Petersburg branch of the All -Russian Society for the Protection of Monuments. Due to disagreements, the activities of the St. Petersburg branch were suspended, and the leadership elections were held. Some members of the company reported that the raider seizure of the VOOPIK occurred, since "dead souls" participated in the elected procedures, and not real members of the organization. It is assumed that because of this society has become more loyal to the city authorities and this will affect the demolition of the historical development of St. Petersburg.
