At negotiations in Turkey, they agreed to create a coordination center for the export of Ukrainian grain

At the talks between the delegations of Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN, an agreement was reached on the establishment of a coordinating center for the export of Ukrainian grain. This was announced after negotiations by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Anadolu reports.

According to Akar, an agreement was also reached on major technical issues, such as joint control at points of departure and destination and ensuring the safety of navigation along transportation routes.

Representatives of Ukraine and Russia, the defense minister said, will hold another meeting next week in Turkey, where they are expected to once again discuss all the details and sign documents.

• The official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov , said earlier that the Russian delegation at the talks in Istanbul submitted for consideration a package of proposals for "the fastest practical solution" to the issue of resuming grain exports from Ukraine. He did not specify what kind of proposals he was talking about. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, before the start of negotiations, said that the countries are "two steps away" from reaching an agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain.
