The Kirovsky District Court of Ufa fined rapper Face (Ivan Dremin) under the article on the lack of marking as a “foreign agent” (Article 19.34.1 of the Administrative Code). This was reported by Bashinform and Ufa1.ru , citing the press service of the court.
The amount of the fine is 10 thousand rubles. The reason for the administrative case was publications on VKontakte about the war with Ukraine without indicating that they were “created and (or) distributed by a foreign media outlet performing the functions of a foreign agent.”
After two decisions on a fine have entered into force, a person declared a “foreign agent” may face criminal prosecution under the article on malicious evasion of his duties (Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code).
In January, Face left Russia - according to his relative, he did so under force.
After the start of the war with Ukraine, the performer repeatedly called on the Russian authorities to stop and participated in charity concerts to help those affected by the hostilities. On April 8, the Russian Ministry of Justiceadded Face to the list of “foreign agents.” The court refused to appeal his status.
