In the constituency No. 21, two candidates are running with the same surname.

This is a former deputy of the State Duma and the head of the Arkhangelsk branch of the Just Russia party Irina Chirkova and 60-year-old Galina Chirkova. The latter heads kindergarten No. 147, goes to the elections as a self -nominated.

Irina Chirkova believes that the regional authorities use her surname to disperse voters' voices and not allow her to the City Council. “Once again, this proves that people for them are slaves, forced to meals awardly to fulfill tasks under pain of dismissal or for a fee. And all because, apparently, that it is more difficult to honestly win for the party of power every year,” she writes .

Earlier, Irina Chirkova was fined 30 thousand rubles per post in social networks. In it, the politician wrote that a sugar shortage appeared in the region, as it was sent as a humanitarian cargo to the DPR and LPR. According to Chirkova, the application for it was written by United Russia Ivan Vorontsov.

• In September 2020, Irina Chirkova participated in the governor's election. She took second place, gaining 16.9 percent of the votes of voters of the region. The first place was taken by the current governor Alexander Tsybulsky, gaining 69.5 percent of the vote.

• Last year, three Boris Vishnevsky participated in the election to the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg in the constituency. One of them is an opposition politician, the head of Yabloko in Sachs and human rights activist Boris Lazarevich Vishnevsky. The other two candidates changed their names before the election campaign and also became Vishnevsky namesakes. They ran for United Russia. Oppositionist Vishnevsky lost elections at both levels to candidates from United Russia. The politician all elected to the Legislative Assembly on the lists from the "apple".
