
The military situation in Ukraine, as experts understand it, has come to a dead end for Russia. Analysts converge in the fact that the RF Armed Forces before the fall have enough strength for only one, and that is not decisive, blow in the Donbass. The speedy capture of Slavyansk, under an even greater question, is in question - access to the administrative borders of the Donetsk region of Ukraine. The aggressor seems to be dried up, although so far it has not yet been broken. What to do the aggressor?
A month ago, in the Russian leadership, there was supposedly a very conditional consensus associated with what can be offered - of course, not to Ukraine, but to the “collective West” - exchanging. The signing of a truce with Kiev and the transition to the political phase of negotiations with the West, which can last for years, in exchange for the exit of Russian troops from Kherson and Zaporozhye. For the internal audience, this would be explained by the cessation of the war in connection with the achievement of its publicly voiced goal, the protection of residents of the so -called DPR and the LPR.
The course that was supposed to indicate the seriousness of Moscow’s intentions to stop and even in some places, perhaps, to go back, was to be the appointment of Dmitry Rogozin as Deputy Prime Minister, who oversees the restoration of the DPR and LPR.
