Pensioner Igor Batov is a well-known builder and ecologist-public in Pskov. For a long time he worked as the main bridge in the regional roadway. Eleven years ago, Batov organized the Free Coast regional human rights movement and, with the support of the residents of the region, defended local lakes and rivers, despite the active opposition of the authorities, which sometimes even sent bulldozers to spontaneous rallies.
