Ukraine accused Russia of rocket attack on the port of Odessa - the day after agreements on the export of grain from there

On the morning of July 23, the Russian military launched a strike with Kalibr missiles at the Odessa Sea Trade Port, the operational command "South" of the Ukrainian armed forces said.

According to the Ukrainian military, two missiles damaged the infrastructure of the port, and two more missiles were shot down by air defenses.

The authorities of the Russian Federation have not yet commented on the incident.

The blow came the day after the conclusion of agreements on the export of Ukrainian grain by sea, including from the port of Odessa.

The Ukrainian version of the document states that the parties will not attack, including the port facilities to which the agreement applies.

A spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force said that the strike was on the part of the port where the grain was located. Later, the press service of the operational command "South" stated that the granary was not damaged.
