The city election commission completed the acceptance of documents for the nomination and registration of candidates for missions in 17 Petersburg municipalities. In total, 260 people submitted the documents for the nomination - but not the fact that everyone would be registered, the procedure has just begun.
The most candidates were nominated by United Russia - 38. 37 candidates nominated the Communist Party and LDPR each. Fair Russia has 36 candidates. Seven more people submitted documents from the "Communists of Russia". The smallest representative office of the party "Civil Initiative" - three candidates. 102 candidates go to the elections by self -nominates.
“Yabloko”, “New People” and “Growth Party” did not nominate their candidates on the systems.
In Yabloko, non -participation was explained by the fact that the leadership of the regional branch has not been elected now. The re -election, as the “Vedomosti” write , will take place only in August. The federal leadership of the Kommersant party reported that its supporters went to the elections by self -nominates and Yabloko intends to support them.
The “new people” abandoned the campaign due to its compressed terms-the party was not ready to redraw plans, said Ksenia Goryacheva, secretary of the St. Petersburg branch of the party. Instead, the party will focus on preparing for a full -fledged municipal election of 2024.
According to the results of the elections, 38 mandates will be replaced - that is, seven candidates claim one mandate on average. The Gorizbirk draws attention to high competition - in the municipal elections of 2019, one mandate on average claimed five candidates.
Most of the candidates submitted applications for participation in the elections in the municipalities “Shuvalovo-Ozerki”, “Dachnaya” and No. 15-in each mandates apply for 18 candidates.
Driving in 17 municipalities of St. Petersburg will be held on September 11. "Paper" spoke in detail about them here .
