The court fined a Petersburger under an article on insulting the feelings of believers

In St. Petersburg, the court sentenced a fine of 15 thousand rubles of the photographer Sergey Kondratyev under the article on insulting the feelings of believers. This was reported by the human rights group "Exit".

The criminal case against Kondratyev was instituted in April 2022. The reason was an 8-second video from Instagram Kondratyev-in the frame he kisses his partner against the backdrop of the temple of the Holy Trinity to the song "** Your ****, what a beauty."

According to activists, the complaint about Kondratyeva wrote one of their parishioners of the temple. During the hearing, a woman named Shishkova refused to reconcile with Kondratiev. As an apology, activists note, the photographer made a charity contribution to an organization that provides assistance to people with HIV.
