In the parking lot near the building of the Tyumen Regional Court there is a young woman in a black dress. Periodically, she breaks down into a scream, forcing passers -by to look back. Next to her, a group of journalists with voice recorders. The woman's name is Elena Shikhova, she is the lawyer Vitaly Goznia. The jury college has just recognized the respect for the murder of eight -year -old Nastya Muravyeva in the summer of 2021. But the court went to meet the prosecutor's office - the jury was accused of violating the secrets of the deliberative room, and the collegium was dismissed.
“The prosecutor’s office could not admit that the system would lose. Half -bastards that my client all this time was in prison [under the arrest in the pre -trial detention center]. A real criminal all this time goes free! " - Shikhova tells reporters.
She is asked how her client reacted to the court decision. The lawyer fiercely gestures and calls what happened to the “enchanting of legal lawlessness”: “My client is horrified. How much more should he sit in prison? And now, while he is here, the last traces of the crime and the ability to find a real criminal are lost. ”
Not far from a lawyer is a woman with a young man similar to her. “Vitaly is my stepfather,” he says to reporters. - I had any emotions, it was obvious that it would be so. Someone tears his ass to protect themselves and those people who have already been given medals [for the capture of the criminal]. I intend to continue to protect my father. ”
The trial of the 41-year-old Vitaly Garefly is one of the most high-profile processes in the Tyumen region in recent years.
Nastya Muravyova disappeared on June 30, 2021 - four days before her ninth birthday. The search lasted a month and a half. The Tyumen district of Lesbaz, where the schoolgirl lived, was carefully searched by police officers, volunteers, military and hundreds of citizens. For information about the girl, the local department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the award of a million rubles, their father’s father was checked on a polygraph, and DNA samples were taken from local residents. As a result, the case was referred to the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee.
On August 19, the girl’s body was found by mowers of grass - on the shore of the lake, two kilometers from her house. The corpse of a child in a box from under household appliances was wrapped in several plastic bags and a fragment of rug. The forensics found that the girl was raped and strangled.
Tyumen journalists, with links to their sources among local security forces, reported that investigators suspect a serial killer of a crime. Over the past 20 years, eight children from eight to 16 years old have disappeared on the outskirts of Tyumen. Two girls - as well as Nastya Muravyov - later found strangled; The bodies of the rest have not yet been found.
In addition, four missing girls, including Muravyov, had a common line: a small squint. The investigator for particularly important cases Yevgeny Karchevsky, who revealed the crimes of the “Angarsk maniac”, Mikhail Popkov, came from Moscow to Tyumen.
A week after the detection of the body, the suspect was detained. At this point, the story of the murder of Nastya Muravyeva-in the context of the loss of other children-has already begun to discuss to talk shows like the “live broadcast of Andrei Malakhov” on “Russia-1” .
The suspect was a native of Surgut Vitaly Berezhnoy, renting an apartment in a neighboring house from the Muravyev family. The man worked as a district police officer for several years, then moved to Tyumen and settled down in a small company. According to investigators, on the day of the loss of Nastya Berezhnaya was drunk under the influence of drugs. He went out onto the stairwell, where he saw the girl. As local media wrote , Muravyova came to a neighboring house to connect to a free Wifai: they did not have the Internet at home. Then the man allegedly lured her into the apartment, tied her tape, raped and strangled her.
The press release of the Investigative Committee of August 26, 2021 says that Berezhnoy hid the girl’s corpse in his refrigerator. Then he brought from the company where he worked as a collector of furniture, a box from household appliances, put the body there and carried the box to the shore of the lake of the exponent. There, investigators found her.
As the speaker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk specified, according to this boxing box and calculated. The equipment from this box should have been installed in a kitchen set - in the very furniture workshop where Vitaly Berezhnoy worked. In the house near the Blessed, investigators also found a trimmed rug. The man’s DNA allegedly also coincided with the samples found on the child’s body.
But the police version did not convince all citizens. They pointed out that, according to the security forces, Berezhnaya kept the girl’s body in the refrigerator - but not in the freezer. At the same time, none of the neighbors of the gentle at the entrance did not feel a characteristic smell of a decaying corpse.
In addition, not a single witness of how Berezhnoy took out a box with the body from the apartment was never found.
Nevertheless, the day after the detention, Vitaly Berezhnaya gave a confession, he was sent to a pre -trial detention center. Tyumen police officers who caught him were assigned to awards. In two of them, Vladimir Kolokoltsev personally handed Makarov award pistols.
At the same time, representatives of the SK deny the involvement of the aged and murders of other children in the Tyumen region. Investigators still do not have a suspect in these crimes.
And in December 2021, Irina Davydova - she met with careful, but parted with him before the death of Nastya Muravyeva - told reporters that for the sake of the confidence of the detainee, they were tortured with an electric shock . Davydova recorded an open video message with a request to conduct an objective investigation of the case, and also connected the lawyer Elena Shikhova to the case.
Together with the human rights activist, he tried to get a criminal case against the police who allegedly tortured him, as well as to check them on the polygraph. However, the Tyumen District Court and the local administration of the Investigative Committee consistently refused this.
During one of the open court sessions, she told reporters that he first saw the girl’s face on orientations. In addition, according to him, due to poor health, he allegedly even theoretically could not attribute the child’s body to the lake, which is located a few kilometers from the house.
As a result, lawyer Elena Shikhova managed to achieve from the Tyumen regional court the consideration of the case of her client’s jury. Before the final meeting, Shikhova told reporters that her client could be released directly in the courtroom. Opinions about the innocence of the gentle are held by the relatives of Nastya Muravyeva-about this was told to reporters of the local online publication of the NEFT Family Lawyer. However, on July 26, when the meeting in the case of Privoy continued, several men held single pickets near the court building demanding a life imprisonment for the accused.
The jury was made on July 26, 2022, Shikhova believes. However, judge Natalya Zhukova allegedly delayed the decision of the decision for several days. The pause lasted until July 28, when the Tyumen Regional Court suddenly announced the decision to dissolve the jury collegium due to the violation of the Code of Criminal Procedure allegedly committed by them. Now the process should begin again.
The reason for such a court decision was the publication in the anonymous telegram channel "Tyumen Udor ". The post, published on July 27, says without links to sources - that the jury accepted the acquittal. However, Judge Zhukov allegedly “after consultations with Moscow” refused to voice him. According to the authors of the channel, she did this because the investigation was engaged in the central apparatus of the UK, the indictment was approved by the Prosecutor General’s Office, and at once six criminal investigators had already received awards for the disclosure of the murder.
On the morning of July 28, a few hours before the verdict is announced, in another anonymous telegram channel, “Our Lukomoore”, another post about the Muravyeva case appeared. An unknown author of the letter, whose screenshot was given in the post, assured that he was familiar with one of the jury, who allegedly spoke about the acquittal of his announcement.
According to Tyumen journalists, the owner of the telegram channel "Our Lukomoore" is the local lawyer Dmitry Gorin. In August 2021, the security forces conducted his searches under the pretext of publishing “insulting information” against children with features. Journalists of URA.RU reported that the real reason for the searches is Gorin's posts about security forces. The source of Medusa in one of the law enforcement agencies Tyumen noted that after the searches, Gorin became more careful in statements and now often “drags the agenda that is beneficial to the security for the security forces”. It was not possible to get an operational comment on the lawyer himself.
“The logic is simple: if the verdict was an accusatory, it would be read out immediately. But the acquittal is unprofitable neither the judge, nor the prosecutor's office, nor the UK. Therefore, we suggested that the judge went to check it in order to find it to catch on, ”the Tyumen Udoro, who insisted on his anonymity, told reporters of the NEFT publication.
Bearest lawyer Elena Shikhova intends to continue to defend her client. “If we were able to convince the jury once, then the next time we can also be, no matter how many of these snaps. Even the law on the procedure for considering citizens in the prosecutor's office does not accept anonymous messages for consideration. And here is an appeal to publications in anonymous telegram channels, ”she told reporters at the regional court building. And she added that the jury, leaving the court building, shouted: "A killer at large, save our children!" This confirms the video published by the local edition of TyumenPro; On it, one of the participants of the now former jury college in a conversation with journalists insists that they pronounced the verdict.
In addition, Shikhova said, she does not exclude that while the court continues, with her client "something can happen in jail."
