In Russia, Hollywood films will show under the guise of "film product"

The largest in Russia, the combined network of the Cinema Park and Formula Cinema Formula began to show the forbidden films of Hollywood. The network mixes them with Russian paintings and issues them under the guise of a “film product”, writes Vedomosti.

In the "Kinoproduct", according to the general director of the network Alexei Vasyasin, the Russian film and foreign video materials will be included. As the movie networks get “foreign video materials”, Vasyasin did not answer. The network said that they show the Hollywood picture to the audience in the framework of "free pre -Union service".

The first "film product" has already included the Russian cartoon "Koschey. Beginning" and "Minions: Gruvitation" from Universal Pictures. Recall that the Minions cartoon was not officially released in Russian rental due to the refusal of the largest film studios to work in the Russian market after the military invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

Sessions with the "Minions" are already going on in all major cities, where there are cinemas "Cinema Park" and "Cinema Formulas". According to Vasyanin, any film of a foreign studio that left Russia can be included in the film product.

Update : "Cinema Park" and "Formula Cinema" abandoned the "film products" after half a day after the announcement. The company said that in this way they wanted to draw attention to the problems of cinemas. The general director of the network Alexei Vasyasin said that the purpose of the action was fulfilled completely. All customers were promised to return money for tickets.

• Earlier, experts warned Russian film distributors that the illegal offense of copies of Hollywood paintings will lead to the closure of the cinema. One of the first was the cinema in Vladivostok, which illegally showing Batman and Sonic-2 was illegally. According to the market participants, the network goes to such a step (illegal rental) before the closure.
• According to Russian law, the release of the film without a rental certificate is an administrative offense (Article 14.58 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and threatens a legal entity with a fine of 50-100 thousand rubles. The display of a foreign film without the permission of the copyright holder is a violation of copyright and under Russian laws is compensated by the amount of up to 5 million rubles.
