The decision to transfer shaman Gabyshev to a regular hospital was suddenly changed

The court extended the forced treatment of the Yakut shaman Alexander Gabyshev in a specialized type psychiatric hospital in Ussuriysk. Earlier, the medical commission decided to transfer it to a general hospital, but after half a month the new commission announced the deterioration of the state of Gabyshev, the editorial office of Siberia. According to him, the decision of the medical commission in the new composition was made on July 27, just when the case of the forced treatment of Gabyshev was preparing for consideration.

“Apparently, some have passed the first adequate conclusion of doctors and at an accelerated pace forced him to change. Alexander is now in a very depressed state, precisely because of this decision, plus, of course, treatment with potent drugs,” said Pryanishnikov.

According to the lawyer, the court does not establish the deadlines for the extension of treatment, but the examination is carried out once every six months.

• In the spring of 2019, Alexander Gabyshev and his associates went from Yakutsk on a campaign in Moscow to conduct the "rite of Putin's expulsion." The shaman was detained a few weeks later on the border of Buryatia and the Irkutsk region. Later, Gabyshev was placed in a neuropsychiatric dispensary, and then a criminal case of calls for extremism was instituted against him.
• In October 2021, the Yakut City Court placed Gabyshev for forced treatment in the Novosibirsk Psychiatric Hospital of the Specialty. He was accused of applying violence to law enforcement officers and extremism.
• In April, Alexander Gabyshev was transferred from the Novosibirsk psychiatric hospital, from Saturday, April 9, he is in a hospital in Ussuriysk.
• Residents of Siberia and the Far East still hold pickets and other promotions in support of Gabyshev. In 2021, the Memorial human rights center included Gabyshev in the lists of political prisoners.
