The United States once again expanded its sanctions lists: this time they included Alina Kabaeva, several Russian businessmen (Andrey Guryev and his son Andrey, Andrey Melnichenko, Alexander Ponomarenko, Dmitry Pumpyansky, Viktor Rashnikov) and the occupation "mayor" of Mariupol Konstantin Ivashchenko.
The list also included Kirill Stremousov, the deputy head of the occupying "military-civilian administration" of the Kherson region, and Vladimir Saldo, the "head" of the Kherson region.
Previously, the European Union, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom imposed sanctions against Kabaeva.
