ETS spokeswoman Stephanie Winters said that from August 4, examinees in Russia and Belarus will be able to register for remote testing (TOEFL iBT Home Edition, TOEFL Essentials and GRE Home Edition), as well as take the test abroad.

“Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, examinees from Russia will still not be able to take the exam at test centers within the country. Examinees who prefer in-person testing will be able to take the exam in other countries if they do not have any financial obstacles or travel problems,” the organization said in a response.

In March, ETS stopped in-person testing in Russia and Belarus.
