Israel and Palestine agree to a truce
Israel and the Palestinians agreed to a truce brokered by Egypt. The ceasefire is due to begin on Sunday at 19:00 GMT (22:00 Moscow time).
In the Gaza Strip, they said that as a result of shelling that began on the evening of August 5, 31 Palestinians were killed, at least a third of them were civilians.
