138 thousand Internet resources has been blocked in Russia since the beginning of the war

Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov gave an interview with Kommersant, where, in particular, he said that since February 24, 138,000 (!) Internet resources were blocked about the demand of prosecutors in Russia .

“After the start of a special military operation, we strengthened the opposition to the spread of calls to extremism and terrorism, riots and fake news on the Internet. More than 340 requirements of prosecutors to block the inaccurate socially significant information about his, deleted or blocked about 138 thousand Internet resources were stated and satisfied, ”Krasnov said.

This, apparently, includes publications, various regional and federal media, sites of international organizations, funds and services, such as Patreon and Grammarly, blocked yesterday. As well as individual pages in social networks - they are also blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General.

Our site Republic.ru is included in the list of blocked resources, as well as the personal website of the editor -in -chief Dmitry Korzev. And Roskomnadzor also blocked our public in VKontakte - also at the request of the prosecutor's office.

The reason for the blocking of our resources is the publication of information that “does not correspond to reality, forms panic moods in people, pose a threat to a massive violation of public order”.
