The petition for the abolition of the arrest of Skochilenko gained more than 150 thousand signatures

The petition to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin demanding to release the artist Sasha Skochilenko from the pre -trial detention center, published on the Change.org platform, scored 152 thousand signatures. The arrest of the activist was extended until September 1.

Skochilenko diagnosed bipolar affective disorder and celiac disease - genetic intolerance to gluten, requiring a strict diet. She also has a congenital heart disease, she needs an urgent examination.

Despite this, the artist was sent to the investigative insulator. She is accused of distributing "fakes" about the Russian army for the action in the supermarket when she changed price tags for anti -war stickers. She faces up to 10 years in prison.

Skochilenko is located in the IVS of the Vasileostrovsky district of St. Petersburg. In April, members of the PMC stated that the artist would receive the necessary nutrition. However, her support group in August said that Skochilenko "was forced to starve, she was not given to her programs [with special education]."

Earlier, civil activists and journalists created an open letter demanding to release the St. Petersburg artist Sasha Skochilenko from the pre-trial detention center due to potential destructive problems for her health. At the end of April, Skochilenko worsened the state of health in the pre -trial detention center.

On May 7, Skochilenko was transferred to another camera after a complaint about the injury from the neighbors in the pre -trial detention center. In June, the artist was sent to a psychiatric examination. The human rights organization Amnesty International recognized Skochilenko as a prisoner of conscience.
