Alexei Navalny filed a lawsuit against Correctional Colony No. 6 in the village of Melehovo, Vladimir Region, where he is serving his sentence. He demands to provide information about the customer of the products that he manufactures in the colony.

Earlier, this information was requested from the administration of the colony by Navalny's lawyer and was refused "due to the lack of consent of customers to disseminate information about the manufacture of their products in correctional institutions." Navalny considers the refusal unlawful.

As Navalny said, in the colony he works in the clothing industry: “We sew some stupid straps and, to be honest, I’m sure they just throw them away right away, and all this was invented to load the strange underground industrial zone of my“ prison in prison "".

Navalny's lawsuit will be considered by Judge Kirill Nikiforov in the Kovrov City Court of the Vladimir Region.

Navalny was transferred to the strict regime colony IK-6 after the verdict was passed in the case of fraud and contempt of court. Prior to that, he served time in the Yves Rocher case in a penal colony IK-2 in another city in the Vladimir region, Pokrov.
