Back in March, Russia was called the world leader in the volume of sanctions imposed on the country. Even then, many expertssaid that the Russian economy is unlikely to withstand this sanctions blow. It was also noted that after the introduction of restrictions in Russia, decades will go for recovery.
Since then, Western countries continue to impose new sanctions against Russia, but these measureshave not led to collapse in the Russian economy. Analysts seriously say that the sanctions policy of the West has reached its ceiling. And once again they argue - how effective the sanctions are in general and against Russia in particular.
Economist Vladislav Inozemtsev believes that citizens will soon feel the effect of restrictions. But at the same time, sanctions are not able to influence the Kremlin’s decisions - because the “Putin economy” will remain the whole. According to Inozemtsev, the main blow from sanctions falls on the population and private business. State companies, on the contrary, will win - due to new subsidies and benefits from the authorities. The Russian economy as a whole feels stable, adds foreigners - largely thanks to oil and gas exports and careful support for China.
