The Kit newsletter (a project from the creators of Meduza) encountered blocking for the first time. Russia has restricted access to the web version of one of the letters

In Russia, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the web version of one of the Kit mailing letters created by the founders of Meduza was blocked. This letter is about how it is that many Russians support the war in Ukraine. It was written by Meduza journalist Andrey Pertsev.

After blocking, the letter is still available - but now at this link .

Kit faced blocking of his materials for the first time. Moreover, blocking does not make sense for mailing lists: Kit texts in the web version are read by no more than 1-5% of the project's audience.

• At the end of March, Kit came under massive attack . The attackers launched a mass subscription to the mailing list, due to which users who did not actually subscribe to the Kit began to send spam complaints to mail services, which in response began to block the mail domain of the Kit project. Apparently, the attack used addresses that fell into one of the spam databases.
