Dmitry Medvedev went to the self -proclaimed LPR

The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, the former president and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, announced in his telegram channel about the visit to the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR).

According to Medvedev, there, on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, he held a meeting with the heads of the DPR and LPR on measures to ensure the self -proclaimed republics.

The meeting was also attended by the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, the first deputy head of the presidential administration Sergey Kiriyenko, Minister of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kolokoltsev, FSB director Alexander Bortnikov and the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.

“Particular attention was paid to the harmonization of the legislation of the LPR and the DPR with the legislation of the Russian Federation, the restoration of infrastructure, the issues of repairing hospitals and the training of schools for the beginning of the school year, solving social problems and supporting citizens,” Medvedev’s telegram channel reports.

Where exactly on the territory of the LPR, the deputy head of the Council of People's Commissars of the Russian Federation visited, is not specified.
